Project Description:
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Public Housing Primary Care Program (PHPC) is responsible for providing residents of public housing with increased access to comprehensive primary health care services through direct provision of health promotion and disease prevention activities and primary health care services. Services are provided on the premises of public housing developments or at other locations immediately accessible to residents of public housing.
Under contract North American Management strengthen the capacity of the PHPC program and its health center grantees to meet the specialized primary health needs of residents of public housing. North American Management designed, provides monthly updates, and maintains the PHPC web site.
Pertinent Features:
- Develop layout in conjunction with HRSA
- Conduct search of delivery of health services to public housing residents
- Consistently research and update information related to public housing residents (e.g., legislative, administrative, and funding issues, statistics)
- Develop annotated bibliographies of public housing related topics
- Link and maintain the web site to other Federal and non Federal partners
