MEDICAL AND HEALTH SERVICES MANAGER- Identify areas of interest & distress for served populations. Enhance patient safety in the delivery of care. Provide technical support in performance indicators. Improve care coordination between clinical department within health org. Provide program assessments to identify areas of need & quality improvement. Oversee Rapid Cycle Improvement Provide clinical decision support. Oversee organizational improvement process. Establish meaningful user requirements. Develop clinical quality measure. Identify & develop best practices on critical topics such as cultural competency & emergency preparedness. Attend training conferences & symposia & technical assistance planning meetings. Supervise subordinates: two research assistant/analyst & a Manager of Research, Outreach & Health Promotion. 40 HRS/WEEK; 9 AM TO 5 PM Requirements: Medical degree (M.D.) or Ph.D. in Public Health. Foreign equivalent accepted. 60 mon. experience required as medical & health manager/supervisor. Must be able to travel nationally, 4 times/yr for 2-3 days. HEALTH RESEARCH ASSISTANT-Responsible for research and evaluation services that support the health and wellness of families. Topics will include medical care, housing, education, education, employment, transportation, and the environment. Collects data and reports findings and trends on relevant problems, solutions, and best practices. Contribute to the day-today operations of evaluation projects Communicate with clients and research participants as needed. Asst with collection of quantitative and qualitative data. Summarize and analyze data. Summarize and explain research findings and their implications. Prepare finings for publication. Review and develop abstracts for published research. Write, edit and format publications. Support development of funding proposals and progress reports. Conduct background research. Provide customer services. Represent North American Management in partner, sponsor and vendor communications, and at meetings and conferences. Document project activities and accomplishments. Inform management about progress, milestones, potential and emerging challenges and feedback from project partners and sponsors. Develop and/or review and analyze statistics. Produce weekly digests and webinars. Perform other duties as assigned. 40 HOURS/WEEK: 9 AM to 5 PM. Requirements: BA/BS or equivalent with a concentration in Public Health, Social, Biological or Health Sciences, Education, Public Administration or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OR three to six years related experience and/or training. Master’s degree preferred.
